A breeding ground for young Brahmins edit

Historically, students have been drawn from some of Boston's oldest families, resulting in the school's reputation as a breeding ground for young Brahmins. Traditionally, most Dexter students, after graduating from what has more recently been called the lower school, have gone on to ISL boarding and day schools, most commonly Belmont Hill, Noble & Greenough, Roxbury Latin, St. George's School, St. Mark's School, and Groton.

For some reason DexterCommunication, which I take is an official Dexter representative, removed the above. But, this is true, historically, that is exactly how the school was. I have reverted the change by DexterCommunication, but just in case they try it again, I've added the paragraph here.

School name is incorrect edit

Since 2013, the school's name has been "Dexter Southfield," as noted here: http://www.dextersouthfield.org/Page/ABOUT/Mission-Statement--School-History Jtcarpet (talk) 14:13, 19 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
