Cleanup edit

Denis Matsuev is doubtless a brilliant and talented pianist, deserving of high praise. But not here. The article is not enyclopedic but rather a fan rave. Matsuev is a significant person and deserves an article, so this article shouldn't be deleted entirely. But it very badly needs cleanup, as the tags say. Peacock words should be avoided. Do not praise or criticize Matsuev yourself. You may report praise or criticism by established academics or critics, BUT NOT BY YOURSELF. And not too much. With the introduction I have given an example of how the article should be cleaned up. J M Rice (talk) 21:23, 23 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

  • I fully concur with the foregoing remarks. Mr. Matsuev is indeed an impressive pianist. But the article comes across almost as though it was written by his PR agency. It needs to be toned down. Cgingold (talk) 15:27, 25 December 2012 (UTC)Reply
    • Hmm, what kind of Peacock words, can any of you be specific? Like, if a specific news source call him such and such I think its factual information, not biased or anything. Or am I wrong here?--Mishae (talk) 19:37, 2 January 2014 (UTC)Reply
