Age edit

The B5 Card Game from Precedence gives the year she was born as 2201. It was part of the caption for the card. But, I'm not sure if this was cannonical information. the B5CCG tends to be fairly reliable about data in general though. An archive image of the card can be found here. Chronology? edit

Under "The Earth-Minbari War", it reads, "Ten years prior to the opening scene of the series ..."

How long was the Earth-Minbari war? The page on the war suggests at least two years, with "They did this for two years. They never ran out of courage. But in the end, they ran out of time." (Londo Mollari)

I would take the opening credits' "Ten years after the Earth-Minbari war ..." to mean ten years after the end of the war, making the start of the war at least twelve years prior to the start of the show.

This Babylon 5 timeline gives 2245 as the year the war started, and 2249 as the year the Babylon Project was conceived, a span of four years, in apparent contradiction of "Ten years after the Earth-Minbari war, the Babylon Project was a dream given form" (opening credits, season one). The page lists Babylon 5 as going online in 2256, eleven years. That page might be out of whack though.

Also, Londo Mollari seems to have kind of a problem with dates when he is the emperor. In "War Without End", he says, the Shadow War began 17 years earlier, when it was in fact 18. Also in 2278, he indicates the Earth Minbari War began 35 years earlier in 2243. It's probably just a wee bit contratiction on the writer's part, but who knows, considering the bad shape Londo's in by 2278? Personally, I'd consider the war to have ended in 2248 (in season one they say often the war ended 10 years ealier and in the pilot, set in 2257, they say "almost ten years" earlier) and to have lastet about 2 years. So this dates the beginning of the war in 2246 or maybe in late 2245. 91.19.207.205 (talk) 12:14, 31 August 2014 (UTC)Reply
