@HyperGaruda: edit

can you help this? No idea about any of it personally and I seem to recall you can read indonesian (?) Elinruby (talk) 23:15, 21 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

@Elinruby: the original Indonesian text was already a unencyclopedic mash of weakly sourced (blogs etc.) text. Someone already had a look at the translation according to the page history, but I'll give it another layer of copyedits to look more encyclopedic, especially since this is a WP:BLP. --HyperGaruda (talk) 19:11, 22 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
I can't do any of that verification. If you know something about Indonesia, though, you will more easily be able to determine if there is in fact a regency there - if it's a sovereign nation it's notable no matter what, right? If he is the head of state then he gets an article but I bet we could have a lot of fun arguing over how much due weight to give him. Let's not though. Just ..k, is this kind of like a princely state in India? I think it's notable that there is such a place and we should have a short bio for the guy if he is the head of state there. I don't think we need to know that he failed first grade, though. I took that out when I took a weed-whacker through there just now. I think it it will be easier to read. I will say again that I know nothing about the place though, so if I introduced an error, just fix it if you would. Hth and thanks
In Indonesia (and please do not confuse that with India), a regency is an administrative division below the province and yes, Purwakarta Regency is an actual regency. It is comparable to a municipality and its leader to a mayor. If you're wondering about notability: yes, he is notable. I can find a lot on GNews about him, so WP:GNG is easily met. --HyperGaruda (talk) 05:14, 23 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
