British Decca

Should mention that ca. the early 1960's, some of the high executives of Decca in Britain supposedly viewed their mission as milking the cash cow of pop trash to fund the release of classical recordings (which alone were true art); this disdainful attitude probably contributed to Decca's eventual decline...
