This article is about a very notable company founded in 1932 surviving the Great Depression and the material shortages of the Second World War. It much more notable than similar companies with less colorful histories such as Charlotte Russe, Wet Seal, and Forever 21 that have articles. Reference links have been included and this link does not PROMOTE the company.
