Conan the Barbarian (film) as "sword and sandal" ? edit

This labeling of the Conan the Barbarian film as "sword and sandal" doesn't make much sense. Robert E. Howard practically created the Sword and Sorcery genre single-handed. The Conan films, although only loosely based on R.E. Howard stories, were firmly in the Sword and Sorcery camp.
