Importance of article edit

Whilst these things are subjective, and whilst I don't live in Canada so am maybe not the best judge, I would have thought that the article came closer to being of medium importance rather than low. In a country not exactly blessed with rock stars who are not Brian Adams, Moist and its figurehead David Usher are the best you've got. The criteria for medium importance are below - it's very difficult to fit everything in something so general but that's my view for what it's worth...

"The article covers a topic that has a strong but not vital role in Canada. Many readers will be familiar with the topic being discussed, but a larger majority of readers may have only cursory knowledge of the overall subject Articles at this level will cover subjects that are well known but not necessarily vital to understand Canada. Due to the topics covered at this level, Mid-importance articles will generally have more technical terms used in the article text. Minister of Transport (Canada), Rick Mercer, Jasper National Park"

I disagree completely with the statement that Canada is "not exactly blessed with rock stars." The music scene in Canada is very much alive and continues to produce new talent. Our Lady Peace, The Tragically Hip, Barenaked Ladies, Feist, Avril Lavigne... it's not hard to name musicians that are Canadian. If you lived in Canada, you would be subject to a different music environment. Canadian content laws dictate that 30% of the music played on the radio must be Canadian. This helps preserve and foster the growth of the domestic musis industry. I would not consider an article about one of many musicians in Canada to be of importance to most Canadians.

I also disagree that Canada lacks in good musicians. However, I think that David Usher/Moist are notable and will be until the children of the 90's kick the bucket. I'd agree with bumping up the importance.
