Requested move 12 April 2020 edit

The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. The result of the move request was: Moved. The last comment makes an argument for using maternal surnames to disambiguate, but presents no evidence that those surnames are used often enough to rebut the arguments of the Supporters. (non-admin closure) IffyChat -- 12:57, 20 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

WP:COMMONNAME of all footballers omits maternal last name, all known as "David Sánchez". Disambiguating to standard for footballers, since there is no WP:PRIMARYTOPIC Ortizesp (talk) 04:33, 12 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

  • Support 1st as a PDAB since the 1st got 168 views compared with 85 and 33 for the other 2[[1]] not nearly a big enough difference for a PDAB which is higher than a base name PT. No comment on the others, just even if they are naturally disambiguated the 1st remains a PDAB. Crouch, Swale (talk) 21:21, 13 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

  • Disambiguate with maternal surname. I think that is more in line with WP:NATURALNESS than convoluted disambiguation. buidhe 21:51, 18 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
