Walcott's introduction to his history of Concord (p. vii, in the Preface, in the G'books version at: http://books.google.com/books/about/Concord_in_the_colonial_period.html?id=H3HUize2ymMC, accessed 6/27/2013) credits Pulsifer with the impetus to publish the Concord Births and Deaths, aka "Concord, Massachusetts Births, Marriages, and Deaths, 1635-1850" (http://books.google.com/books/about/Concord_Massachusetts_births_marriages_a.html?id=888UAAAAYAAJ, accessed 6/27/2013).
