Filing compalint

can someone discuss here the complaint he has filed since he was fired while fighting 'the war on terror' and you can't fire someone while they perform that service?

When was he appointed as US Attorney and by whom was he appointed.

Apparently the dismissing/changeover of US Attorneys occurrs routinely according to the above cited article. In the first two years Reagan replaced 89 US Attorneys, Clinton replaced 89 US Attorneys, and G. W. Bush replaced 88 US Attorneys.

Without providing proper historical context, history simply becomes a propaganda tool. Certainly this is inappropriate for any encyclopedia. Origen 15:08, 6 April 2007 (UTC)

Misleading statements and DOJ reference /left wing POV throughout entire article

David Iglesias was NOT found to have been fired for political reasons. His dismissal came as a result of his failure to indict Manny Aragon, a Democratic New Mexico state senator who had a long history of corruption in New Mexico. Further, Iglesias wasn't targeted for dismissal before November 15th 2006, which would have been after the election. Iglesias claims the Bush White House wanted him to indict Aragon before the 2006 elections as a political move. However, there is no basis for this claim in the Department of Justice report which is incorrectly referenced/cited as saying Iglesias was fired for political reasons. He was fired for incompetence.

Just three months after Iglesias was justifiably fired, Manny Aragon, the subject of the investigation, was indicted on 26 counts of felony corruption. Aragon immediately plead GUILTY to 3 felony counts and agreed to pay fines in excess of $2 million in restitution and was given a 5 year prison sentence. The indictments outline a 29 year history of corruption.

Malke, your edit shifts it over to having a decidedly right-wing POV, which also violates Wikepedia policy. It is our duty to make the article neutral, i.e. to not have any slant whatsoever. While you believe that Iglesias was fired for "good cause," there is certainly plenty of evidence to the contrary. As such, we should either note both points of view, or not slant it one way or another.

As per Wikipedia guidelines, I'm going to mark this as a neutrality-disputed article, and we can commence wangling. If it's okay with folks, I'm happy to give it a shot myself, but I'll wait until others chime in.Dougom (talk) 21:46, 13 August 2009 (UTC)

Edit warring

Hello Brotherskeeper25, I noticed you've reverted edits several times. In particular, you can't have an external link within the body of the article, as you seem to keep reverting this. The Esquire Article you've added is already mentioned in the body of the article under Post U.S. Attorney. It does not belong in the lead. Detainees

The Guantanamo Detainees were never identified as 'alleged terrorists.' They were called 'enemy combatants' by the Bush Administration, a term that has been withdrawn by the Obama Administration. I have removed the reference to the detainees added by Brotherskeeper25.Malke2010 07:40, 8 January 2010 (UTC)
