This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... I am adding information on a public edit-a-thon event. I am adding information cumulatively. This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because as stated in the article, Darcy Nicholas holds a Queens Service Order for services to Museums. As the article also states, Nicholas received the 2014 Supreme Te Waka Toi Award from Creative New Zealand a department of the New Zealand government. These two awards alone portray the importance and significance of the subject.Peata likes art (talk) 03:48, 13 June 2015 (UTC)
