Are there any reliable sources for dates of birth and death? Deltahedron (talk) 06:06, 24 July 2014 (UTC)
- The dates are from this obituary of his High School, but this contains an error, he didn´t got his Ph.D. from Yale but from Harvard under Barry Mazur (according to the mathematics genealogy project). But he worked thereafter with Serge Lang from Yale in the 70s, while being at Cornell.--Claude J (talk) 17:52, 12 January 2016 (UTC)
