Spelling of Ksenia

Hi, why do people spell her name with a 'z' when it is with a 's', it is shown on screen during the programme? MSalmon (talk) 21:59, 12 February 2017 (UTC)

Last to be called safe

On the scoring charts and running order section, Aobhin in week 8 and Aidan in week 9 are marked "last to be called safe". However, although they are called amongst the last three couples, they're not technically the last ones called safe. The last ones called safe are the one's who survived the dance-off. Flags

I have removed these again. I suggest the IP editor reads MOS:FLAGCRUFT, Do not emphasize nationality without good reason. That "Many of the pros competed internationally for their respected countries" is completely irrelevant. If they did compete for their "respected" [sic] countries then the appropriate place for the flag would be in an article about the competition in which they competed, not an article about a competition that does not compete along national lines. The use of "many" would also confirm that some of the people did not, so why would their nationality need to be emphasized at all? The use of flags on other articles is not relevant, content is determined by guidelines such as MOS:FLAG not the content of other articles. If the removal from this article creates an inconsistency, please go ahead and fix it by removing the incorrect use of flags on any other articles. FDW777 (talk) 18:19, 1 April 2020 (UTC)

I have replaced these again. I have also read MOS:FLAGCRUFT, Do not emphasize nationality without good reason and the reason why the flags have been beside each of the pros names since the creation of this article is to reflect where they originate from and where their dance roots are from. The flags which are also visible on Strictly's page and Dancing with the Stars Australia's page for example were never intended to promote nationalistic pride or to violate Wikipedia's "Neutral point of view" policy. I don't feel the need to remove the flags from other articles as they were obviously included for a valid reason in the first place. Lastly, thank you for bringing it to my attention that I used the word "respected" in the wrong context. The appropriate word I was looking for was "respective".

Please provide reliable references that confirm, for example, that Robert Rowiński's dancing is shaped by his Polish roots? Similarly please provide reliable references that there is a distinct variety of Irish dancing specific to Northern Ireland practiced by Ryan McShane? And also references that confirm the dancing of Ksenia Zsikhotska, Trent Whiddon, Valeria Milova and Vitali Kozmin is related to their respected [sic] nationalities? I see there has been another attempt to add these back, claiming Flags re-added, as per other territories pages see Strictly Come Dancing. Even ignoring that the format of this page is determined by the manual of style not how other pages are formatted, the Strictly Come Dancing page doesn't have flags on it anyway!
