Hello fellow Wikipedians, I have noticed that there is a confusive statements in history section. (first two para)

The stepwell was built in 1485 by Dhai Harir, a household lady of Mahmud Begada according to the Persian inscription in the stepwell.[1] She was the superintendent of the royal harem.

Dhai Harir built a mosque and a tomb in which she was buried. The well bears two inscriptions, one in Sanskrit on the south, and one in Arabic on the north wall, of the first gallery.[1]

As the first para indicates that the inscription is in Persian language while in second para it says Arabic language. Both statements have a same reference and the original text in the reference does not show anything about Persian inscription. Snehrashmi (talk) 04:03, 8 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
