Name edit

Is it possible that there are two archaeolgists with almost the same name?

  • D. P. Agarwal
  • D. P. Agrawal

What is this???? edit

Is it an article or a bibliography? If I do not see any other solution in a day or two, I might simply delete most of the bibliography :-| MW 05:28, 19 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

It sure looks like a list of his works. It seems like it would make sense to either delete most of the lists or delete the prose and make it just an official list (changing the name of the article). Dreambeaver (talk) 20:02, 13 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Really surprised with the Wikipedia's Moderators ! edit

"This biographical article is written like a résumé. (February 2011)"

"This article possibly contains original research. (February 2011)"

"This article's tone or style may not reflect the encyclopedic tone used on Wikipedia. (February 2011)"

"This article may be too long to read and navigate comfortably. (February 2011)"

A person who is the GEM of India and has written 100+ books, so many, that he may as well be the most extensive writers ever to walk on this planet ! A list of his publications so long, that some 'intellectuals' are finding it 'uncomfortable'. Truly surprised. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 110.226.186.125 (talk) 20:24, 18 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

Blanking edit

@Sigmabaroda: That is a massive blanking! I have tried to find as much information as I could about the man, but there isn't much available online. Anybody who has access to a copy of one of his books should be able to find a bio that validates the content.

I am also not sure the basis for your assertion that the article in The Hindu refers to a UPSC chairman. - Kautilya3 (talk) 13:32, 6 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

Thanks. I was quite surprised also to see lack of good sourcing. There is another DP Agrawal in Wikipedia who was UPSC chairman.Sigmabaroda (talk) 13:36, 6 January 2016 (UTC)Reply
