After beginning what was intended to be a light copy-edit, I realised that this article requires further work. For instance, in the opening section (Investigation) it is unclear to whom the 'he' is referring in the following sentences: 'He had assumed that the cave markings were made by Moors. He had found human remains and markings on the walls.'
In addition, a quick look at information found via the first reference (itself a broken link) suggests the timeline requires elaboration, i.e. the events did not all occur in 1905, as I had assumed from this being the only year stated. The article is marked 'high importance'. I'm a relative newbie here, so could anybody direct me to Wikipedia resources (tags, etc.) that I could add to alert other editors to this page? Thanks.
