Removal of information edit

An editor has deleted the following:

"Legend stated that the higher Lake Willoughby had an underground aquifer that fed Crystal Lake - that an object (or drowning victim) lost in the former, would turn up in the latter eventually. This has been debunked by geologists.(ref)http://query.nytimes.com/gst/fullpage.html?res=9A0CE1DE1239F932A1575AC0A961958260&sec=&spon=&pagewanted=all New York Times retrieved June 29, 2008(endref)"

Nevertheless, the legend was popular. And this all before people really became familiar with how much our underground water systems are interlinked. - Just not these two lakes!

This is bound to be in a history of the area. If you run across it, please reinstall. Thanks. Student7 (talk) 21:02, 26 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
