Background to my writing the article edit
I decided to create the article since I noticed that the theatre is mentioned in many articles in WP: many notable people performed there. I found no sources specifically about the theatre, but it is mentioned in the biographies of people who owned or managed it. The sources of the article being entirely the biographies of these people, it is not a complete account of the theatre's history – in particular it does not go further than 1820, since I did not find any information. It had just ceased to be a patent theatre, so it was supposedly less important, but the later history is still to be added. – AtticTapestry (talk) 11:39, 6 February 2018 (UTC)
