The result of the proposal was no consensus to move the page, per the discussion below. It's true that the golfer has the best article now, but a fair number of links to the disambiguation page intend another topic, particularly a certain film editor. Given that the number of links on the dab is now up to five, this move should probably be postponed until primary usage can be established more clearly. Dekimasuよ! 15:48, 21 October 2007 (UTC)

Craig Wood (golfer) → Craig Wood - The Craig Wood disambiguation page is not needed. There are only two Craig Woods' on wikipedia. One is a golfer and the other is a guitarist. The guitarist page is a short stub while the golfer's page has a lot more information. Craig Wood (golfer) should be moved to Craig Wood and on the top of the golfer's page a see also tag would be added. michfan2123 14:28, 12 October 2007 (UTC)

• Mild Oppose. I don't see any big need to create disambiguation page if only two people are involved, but when they exist there should be no rush to delete them. If one of them is going to be placed as the primary disambiguation, I'd like to be some pretty good evidence that there is a strong possibility that someone searching for the ambiguous article name is likely to be looking for that page. Of course, one of the disambiguation pages includes a redlink indicating a possible future article, I have no opinion on how likely that is to happen. Instead, merge and redirect Craig Wood (disambiguation) into Craig Wood. Gene Nygaard 16:04, 13 October 2007 (UTC)

New Jersey PGA Championship

According to [1] Wood also won the New Jersey PGA in 1938, bringing the grand total to 22 wins. 188.200.235.36 (talk) 16:52, 12 April 2015 (UTC)
