Wrong “inventor” assigned edit
The first medical use of cotton wool is attributed to Dr Sampson Gamgee here but I believe it is incorrect. He indeed did invent gamgee tissue but he was not the first to use the cotton wool material medically - it was Dr Ludwik Bierkowski who actually used it first for medical purposes. 2A02:A03F:69AA:6000:1498:72E2:892B:87B1 (talk) 14:43, 14 November 2022 (UTC)
