Why over the past 6 months has A. this section below been removed multiple times, and B. Why on EARTH is it being deleted and then the words "this article may be up for deletion" always talked about???? The REASON Cory Pesaturo deserves an article is not his Accordion accomplishments, it's his Diversity, and if you search you will find Everything he says about Formula 1 and his Weather work it's true. For goodness sake's the Links are IN THE ARTICLE, although they are in the parts of the article that are constantly deleted. The worst part is the questioning of facts that can't have paper behind them - example, you want proof of him playing 10 times for the Clinton's. How in the world can he give you a paper on that? He could most certainly get a paper from the Clintons that he played at the White House 4 times, but the other times were at Private functions. This is the section that needs to be in the article. It is what makes him so interesting -

Other than his music career, Pesaturo has been highly successful in the world of weather and statistics overall. He is known to many as "The Snowman" for his meteorological work . and professional sledding mountain in Rhode Island, "CN Mountain". In late September 2005, he began to compile a list of records set by the 2005 Atlantic Hurricane Season. . It soon became noted around the country, being used by Universities, professional meteorologists, The Weather Channel, AccuWeather, the National Weather Service, the National Weather Association, and most notably the [[National Hurricane Center]].

Furthermore, Cory is a motor sports analyst and historian, and is currently working on a Formula 1 book/statistics project that could change the way people look at the history of Formula 1 and its champions. The book is aimed at doing to Formula 1, what Bill James and his Sabermetrics theories did for Baseball. His music is played on Formula 1 Broadcasts, including when Formula 1 is broadcast on FOX network.

First of all, none of the links in the meteorological section above are working at present.

The site says "We're sorry, but the page you have requested was not found." Secondly, this page is a prime example why Wikipedia strongly discourages people from writing about themselves. Most people find it very difficult to write about themselves and subjects close to them. See Wikipedia's Conflict of Interest and Autobiography guidelines - WP:COI and WP:AUTO. Please also note that everything in articles on Wikipedia must be verifiable to independent, third party reliable sources. This means that if there are no published sources for this information except you saying so on this page then the information simply isn't suitable for Wikipedia. Dude, you need to stop editing this article as you are clearly hopelessly compromised and unable to approach this from a neutral point of view. Your last edits were reverted by a bot, but if you continue trying to turn this into a hagiography, I'm going to file a report on the Conflict of Interest Noticeboard and place the conflict of interest warning tag on the article Template:Coi. Also you might want to remember that everything ends up Googlable by anyone forever. Just a thought. You can't write that Pesaturo is some kind of notable meteorological figure "highly successful in the world of weather" and use as the source for this claim this link [1] which is just a blog that merely says in its entirety: "Blog reader Cory Pesaturo has written a research paper that takes a look into whether or not the winters are changing in Southern New England. It's an interesting question." This in no way supports the sentence: "Pesaturo has been highly successful in the world of weather as well, and is known to many as "The Snowman" for his meteorological work". The Autobiography and Conflict of Interest guidelines recommend subjects of articles and those close to them not edit the article themselves but instead make any suggestions on the article's talk page and then leave it up to other users to decide what to include in the article. This protects the subject from accusations of self promotion, hagiography, etc, and it protects Wikipedia's purpose of writing a neutral encyclopedia. You can be of help on this talk page. For example, with the actual albums, not single releases and such but professional, commercially released albums. I was unable to find any record of albums called "Wide Veriety of Music" (is that deliberate misspelling?), "Flying Fingers", or "Jazz". I can't find these recordings mentioned anywhere...Can you please explain if they are actually albums and if they were actually released commercially. • • I'll go through each issue so we can resolve all things, and I won't touch the article, but there's a good amount to do. Note, I didn't get involved with this article until recently when I saw it needed links. I spent hours and had the article up to 9 links in the references, and editors/bots keept deleting them. Wikipedia wants links and sources, but when I put them in to prove the thigns I'm saying, they delete them.

But maybe this will start to help greatly if we work together.

• 1. - The 3 links work perfectly, maybe they are embeded wrong, but if you copy the exact link of all 3 and when you paste it, it works.

• 2. - "You can't write that Pesaturo is some kind of notable meteorological figure", How can I prove it if most everything I do is not online. What is it, unless things people have done are online, they don't exist? I do very much in the weather world, and work with all the associations I mentioned. But it's all work that you'd never see online, so I posted some of the things you Can see. But what more can I show? It is at least easy to prove I've never had any training because you won't find any information anywhere, since I've never had any. There is a video I shot of me when I work with TJ Del Santo, the TV Meteorologist on CBS in Rhode Island. - www.youtube.com/watch?v=djxlLuSsdmg . He's the one who allowed me to work there, even though he said "I've never heard of a person with No training in meteorology and being allowed to sit with the weatherman, but you know enough about it that I'll let you."

• 3. - "Fastest Fingers" quote - I see quotes all over wikipedia that were said, not written down. This quote is told to me many times but not on paper so how can I source this. If there is a way I'll certainly get to it as soon as possible. This also goes for "The Snowman" name, which is everywhere on the internet, but If I need to get in paper somehow I will.

• 4. - Albums - The "Wide Veriety of Music" is the genre of my album "Crosswinds" which features George Garzone, and "Change in the Weather" is my Jazz CD that I made with George Garzone and his band "The Fringe". Both of these can be found easily all over google and itunes. It may have been italicized wrong so you were mistaken when reading it. "Flying Fingers" (1998), is my first solo album, but it's not online of course because I made it almost before anyone was on the internet. I can take pictures of one of them to show for proof. "Tiny Orchestra" was a "Jazz Band" album that I played on thought the CD. "A Penny Whistle Christmas" is the only one that falls into the Collaborative Effort category, and you can see/hear the tunes from the band here - http://www.myspace.com/toylandband. All 3 of us in the band had equal work in the project.

• 5. - Youngest person to solo with a symphony, youngest person to win the national championship, only person to major in and graduate from New England Conservatory - Unfortunately, Accordion History is as well documented as the history of the Ancient Egyptions. So it's almost impossible to prove these things. Very few accordionists have ever soloed with a symphony, and I talked to the person, Steve Dominko, that did it at 17. I've never heard of any accordionist talk about someone who has done it younger, but there's no way it can be put on paper. I DID provide a link to an article that had a picture of me performing That very concert, but it got deleted. Maybe we could word it in a way to show there's no definite proof, but probable. For the Championship, I have been told by people in the association that held that championship that I was the youngest to win. I can get a paper from them with a statement and signature, and then I could send it, would that be enough? Also, I could get a statement and signature from New England Conservatory about me being the only accordionist, would that also be enough if I sent that?

• 6. CN Mountain - Please tell me, before you read this, you never thought the phrase "professional sledding mountain" even Existed. So do I really have to prove that it's "one of the only "sledding mountains in the world". The sledding world is so small you can't even find info onit. My mini-mountain has a YouTube video which CAN be used as a link and source because every second of it was filmed on my own (parents really haha) property so I have the rights to all of it. I was also one of the first Freesledders but I won't go near that one with a ten foot pole on wikipedia.

• 7. - I've played for the President and/or Ms. Clinton 10 times. Here's a look at each time -

1st - White House in December 1998, for the Christmas gathering 2nd - State Dinner, which is in Mrs. Clinton's Book "An Invitation to the White House" on pages 82-83 which is in the article. 3rd - White House in December again, this time in 1999 4th - White House in December again, this time in 2000 5th - 2001 at Cumberland High School for Ms. Clinton - There was an article written about this WITH my picture in the "Valley Breese" in Cumberland Rhode Island. But that's not online. I could again take a picture and send it. 6th - 2002 at Barrington High School in Barrington, RI - I have pictures from this with me and Bill/me playing. I could send these, and they are on my website actually. 7th - Mark Winer's House in 2003, who is a big financial supporter of the Clinton's. This was a private fund raiser, so how the heck do I prove it? 8th - Another Fund raiser in Rhode Island this time for Hillary in 2004 which was at the private house of Ira Magaziner - Here's Wiki's article on him - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ira_Magaziner 9th - 2006 at the University of Rhode Island, but it was again a private function. 10th - At Bryant College in Smithfield, RI; Bill Clinton Campaigning for Hillary - You can see the video of this one, although I played for him privately after, but this is certainly enough to prove "a time I played for him or them". So just tell me what I need to do to prove the 10 times from what I've said. I also ahve 8 letters from the president and some from the head staff, so if you need to see them, I think they're already scanned on my computer. I don't think this will need much, especially with the video.

• 8 - My Formula One music. I'm personal friends of Peter Windsor http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peter_Windsor (now co-head of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USF1_(Formula_One) ) and have video to prove this. I also have a DVD that I could send you that has 4 of the races where my music was played, with my name at the bottom of the screen on both FOX and SPEED TV.

• 9 - I can understand that you don't want to put "is currently writing a major book" because there is no proof of it. but know that I'm witting it, and it shows the diversity from music, to weather, to racing.

• 10 - My 2007 AND 2008 Atlantic Hurricane Records List is not online because I'm trying to see if I can actually financially benefit from the 100's of hours I put into these lists. But the National Hurricane Center has it, and I can send them to you via e-mail. 2008 isn't fully complete yet but will be soon. But I Certainly wrote them, and certain universities and weather associations have them for their statistical use.

Note: I didn't make one for 2006, because, no records were broken, or at least not enough of them to warrant a list.

Some advice to Cory

Hi Cory,

I hope you'll believe that my advice is worth listening to, as I spent the time a few months ago to find the sources needed to save this article from deletion, and have given up much of my evening today to find some more to get rid of a couple of those ugly "citation needed" tags (and, incidentally to write this). In return I would request that you take some time to understand why you are having problems getting people to accept some of the content that you have been adding to the article.

I know it is frustrating when people remove information that you know is true, but it's not enough that you know it - you have to demonstrate it, otherwise other people have no way of knowing it. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia that anyone can edit, which means, unfortunately, that many people try to add falsehoods to articles. I don't for a moment suspect that you are doing this, but in order to protect the encyclopedia against such people we insist that any information should have been previously been published by sources that are accepted to be reliable. We can't accept information from sources such as Youtube because anyone can post what they want there without any checking of information. We need sources such as newspapers and books from established publishers, like the ones that I have put in this article.

There is no doubt that you have achieved a great deal as an accordionist, because this has been reported by the sources cited in the article, but statements such as "he became the youngest accordionist to be the soloist with a symphony orchestra" need to be confirmed by reliable sources, especially when you say that you base this on not personally knowing of anyone younger. Symphony orchestras and accordions (admittedly not often in combination) have been around for a couple of centuries all over the western world, so you can't make such a claim because you've "never heard of any accordionist talk about someone who has done it younger". Is that any evidence that some fourteen-year-old didn't play with the Berlin Philharmonic in 1890?

As regards your interest in meteorology, I again have to emphasise that, if you want to include any more information than that you have such an interest, you have to show that reliable sources have written about it.

I hope that you will take from this that you have to provide sources for anything that you add to the article. I have done what I can to help you by adding sources that I could find online, but there is no requirement for sources to be online. If any newspapers that aren't available on the Internet have reported on any of your activities then you can cite them as sources - just give the name of the newspaper, date of publication and article title. • • • Hi Phill - Thank You So So much for the time you put in earlier, the time today, and the paragraphs you just wrote here. I Truly appriciate it (along with others that have helped), and I'm just so very happy I can talk to some people on here now. The reason I have always had a hatred/anger somewhat for wikipedia, is because they had asked me to put my 2005 Hurricane List up for them to coincide with the 2005 Atlantic Hurricane Season Article. And because I love statistics so much, and I felt it So very important that people know the information, I said yes. I spent about 50-60 hours over the course of a few weeks, until I got completely fed up with the editing. It felt like they would question Every, Single, Letter I put down, let alone every record - Things that the National Hurricane Center said "yes of course" too. They'd worry about things that could not be sourced at all, but were clearly 100% records (going back to 1880ish of course). So I just gave up, because I was doing it for free, after already spending 350 hours on the list originally just out of the love for weather, statistics and because I wanted to make sure the common person understood what had truly happened that year.
    • On my article, I agree for now, some things just need to be left out until I can get you guys "on paper" proof for things that arn't there. I think for the "ten times for the Clintons" I've given enough proof on in the big sector I wrote today above. We can leave out the symphony issue, since there just isn't enough info there. On my unique sledding mountain, I know wikipedia says if you hold the rights to everything in the video, a YouTube video is valid - and that one is just trees and snow anyway haha. I will soon have a website for CN Mountain which will certainly be a better source, but for now is that particular video valid for that claim?     • I know it's probably just very hard to believe a 22-year old kid is doing things in the motor sports world, weather world, And the accordion world of All things. Doing this all at the same time as well. So I can fully understand why wikipedia in general doesn't want to believe any of it. I'll tell you it is not the life you should lead if you want girls haha. I was wondering if there is also a way to prove that I do music for FOX and SPEED TV with Formula 1 races, Other than sending you guys the DVD I have made with the 4 races that show the Pre-commerical breaks with my name on the screen while my music plays.......

• They are Album notes, and describe what they are, who they're with, and who's on them (in the case of George Garzone who has an article on wiki) so I'm not sure why they shouldn't be there. especially since the Toyland Band dosn't have much online, and it's very hard to find "A Pennywhistle Christmas". I also am "widely involved" in meteorology which there are enough links to prove it. It's Certainly far more than just "interested". How come when I try to put this link in -

it says .Cite error: Invalid <ref> tag; invalid names, e.g. too many.

When using a "ref name" tag, you have to put the name in quotes. Eg,

It seems that a person of significance in the field should not need to add and be the sole editor of his own Wikipedia page. Additionally if he is of significance in that field he should not be the one to add himself to lists of significant
