I stumbled upon this article on accident even though I spend lots of time on Southcentral articles. This article does not come up when searching cook inlet. I believe it should be renamed "Cook Inlet Basin". A simple Google search of "cook inlet basin" produces "the Cook Inlet Basin" which tells me "the" is not necessary.
