Previous version stated that Compton Dundon is on the edge of Sedge Moor. There is no such place as Sedge Moor; however there is a Sedgemoor. Until the exact meaning can be checked I suggest broadening it to on the edge of the Somerset Levels.

Fair enough but I'm astonished. No-one in this area (that I know) uses that form - I would claim the OS has got it wrong! Even they use the more common (locally) form, see for example the King's Sedgemoor Drain.
