Talk:Communist Party of Georgia (U.S. state)

The relationship between the populist movement and socialism in Georgia is unclear edit

The section "Origins of Georgian socialism" relates almost exclusively to the history and events relevant only to the populist People's Party. However, the article in its current state provides no evidence to suggest a meaningful relationship between that political party and the development of communism or socialism in Georgia. At most, it states that certain members of the People's Party joined the Socialist Party when the former collapsed, but nothing more beyond that.

I would like to comment that the inclusion of this information may be ideologically-motivated. This article was largely created by @AmericanBaath, who in the original version of this article, titled the aforementioned section "Populist origins of Georgian socialism". He additionally used articles he published on his blog as references multiple times. If this is any indication, this section is likely present to promote this user's views on the supposed relationship between populism and socialism.
