I don't think wikipedia is the best place to solicit medical advice. --Eikenhein (talk) 02:03, 30 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Image selection edit

The choice of image for this article is unfortunate, as the label for the CBD points directly at the junction of the cystic duct, common hepatic duct, and common bile duct. This is not helpful to one who does not know which is which. Osmodiar 23:21, 24 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

Change the label of the picture. edit

In fact the above user is correct, the arrow in the picture points at the junction between the common hepatic duct and the common bile duct. Maybe a more accurate picture can be found by someone.

Bile duct edit

The TA term is ductus choledochus. "Common" is still commonly used, however. Should the article be renamed? I'll vote first and say yes, with CBD redirecting to here. Hovea 12:28, 26 February 2007 (UTC)Reply
One more go then I'll drop it. Let's rename this 'Bile Duct'. Hovea 13:01, 22 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

I'd recommend against that -- I think it would create ambiguity. --Arcadian 13:57, 22 September 2007 (UTC)Reply
