Some parts of this article read like it's been edited by the developers. The tidbit concerning the Syrian civil war - which reads very much like a 'disclaimer' - is particularly telling. This, in addition to the lack of sources, seems a little un-wikipedian. Thoughts? 2601:87:4400:AF2:1E5:7EA2:8D4E:545B (talk) 00:39, 30 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

"All games offer to play as a single player versus a customizable AI" - in what way is the AI customizable? Difficulty modifiers change the number of units (or points, in a QB).

13/09/06 One of the greatest computer wargames of all time. The PBEM play is so good that web sites and online clubs for Combat Mission have thrived and IMHO will continue to do so for a long time on the future. This game is the benchmark for all other turn based computer games to be measured against, Star Rating *****. - Ian (Online nickname: Vulture)

  • Yep truly a great series. I still play Barbarossa to Berlin and Afrika Corps quite often. I'm a bit disappointed that Battlefront have chosen a fictional conflict for the next instalment though. Lisiate 03:52, 9 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Various portions read like an ad. edit

Certain parts of this article kind of seem like an ad and not actual cited fact. For example,

"Battlefront.com, in an unusual move for the industry, will provide inexpensive upgrades for owners of the original Shock Force game. This is being done to show genuine appreciation of the very strong player community that has built up around CM:SF."

Is this normal, or unnecessary? 2600:8805:5202:7000:E8D5:4580:F922:E3CC (talk) 23:01, 11 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
