Association of Colwall with Malvern

I am seeking documents that can be cited to justify, in the Wikipedia article about Malvern, mention of activities and entities based in Colwall, or at least links to these. The issue has arisen from the deletion, by another Editor, of mention of the Colwall Brass Band -- (a photograph with the caption that gives the date as about 1910 is in book Around Malvern in Old Photographs, and the Downs School but not, inconsistently, Coca Cola. My concern is that someone who remembers being told that Sanger or Hodgkin went to school in Malvern, or that Auden taught at a school in Malvern, would be frustrated by total blackout of their names from the Malvern article. Are there books about Malvern that describe Colwall. Is Colwall news covered by Malvern newspapers. Is Malvern a traffic hub for Colwall? Thanks Michael P. The Malvern Gazette covers Colwall, as does the very similar Ledbury Reporter . For a number of years Worcestershire and Herefordshire were amalgamated under a single county council and the Malvern Hills District Council area included Colwall. When the counties were separated again, Colwall came under the Herefordshire unitary authority. The flourishing Wyche and Colwall Horticultural Society covers the Wyche, which is part of Malvern. I was that 'another Editor'. From 1974 to 1998 the counties of Herefordshire and Worcestershire were merged as one county. When they were divided again the crest of the Malvern Hills forms the east–west border between the two counties, with Colwall on the very edge of the Herefordshire side. The city of Hereford is some 20 miles away, while the large town of Malvern is 0 miles away, the Colwall suburb of Upper Colwall being on the very border, marked by the Wyche cutting through the crest of the hills. While Colwall is included in the gographical region informally referred to as The Malverns, it is not part of Malvern Town. I'm not sure if it is now, but the newspaper was called The Malvern Gazette & Ledbury Reporter published by Newsquest and fomerly owned by Berrows Newspapers. --Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 11:29, 16 April 2011 (UTC)
