I'm afraid that this line - as I have now amended the article - was never part of the Eastern Counties Railway. That company certainly ran trains through Haverhill, and through Chapel and Wakes Colne at each end of the line, but in between their line ran through Long Melford. This line was independent as is shown on the website history Peter Shearan 10:53, 24 Apr 2005 (UTC)
