I wouldn't have written this article on my own devices; I did it because what was here before clearly needed to be moved (it's now at Colloquium (College of Engineering, Guindy) ), and I couldn't leave the redirect. So I wrote a brief paragraph about colloquia in my experience. Some of the links to this page suggest that others have different understandings of what a colloquium is (for example, one suggests that it's a type of course for credit). One's own experience is not good enough grounds to write an article purporting to define a word. That may be acceptable at the Urban Dictionary, but not here. Even worse, the referenced dictionary definition contradicts the interpretation propounded here. Replacing the article with a disambiguation page, keeping the pointer to the Parliament of Scotland and a pointer to the (properly referenced and comprehensive) Wiktionary entry.
