How did he die? edit

According to the page on his son, Alasdair MacColla, he was killed by Campbells in retaliation for his son's atrocities. Jhobson1 (talk) 12:59, 9 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

OK, but we have to be careful. There are some fanciful stories. Charles Matthews (talk) 16:50, 24 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Another son - Col. Neal mac Colkittagh? edit

Col. Neal mac Colkittagh, died at the battle of Scarrifholis in 1650. He was probable commanding his brother former regiment, i.e., Col Alaisdair mac Coll Ciotach, who was killed at the Battle of Knocknanauss 1647. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 147.1.235.124 (talk) 00:06, 11 December 2019 (UTC)Reply
