I'm not really familiar with this case but it's listed under assassinations in Australia. Was this politically or personally motivated?--Senor Freebie (talk) 22:04, 20 December 2011 (UTC)

Death

This sentence occurs on the page, under the heading "Death". The sentence makes no sense, and I don't know enough about the subject to correct it.

"At the time of Winchester's murder, it was alleged that Winchester was corrupt; at any earlier period when it was said that he had handled bribes relating to a Canberra illegal casino." - (APC - 08/2022) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.101.201.111 (talk) 10:17, 28 August 2022 (UTC)

I was going to report the exact same problem. A year and a bit later, nothing has changed. I'm just going to bite the bullet and suggest a change. It has to be better than leaving the current nonsense. 58.80.201.106 (talk) 07:35, 15 January 2024 (UTC)

Merge from David Eastman

The David Eastman article was solely about his muder conviction, etc., and now it seems likely to be quashed the article does not seem justified. It also does not seem necessary to create Murder of Colin Winchester since we have a biography already. Thincat (talk) 12:23, 31 May 2014 (UTC)
