Articles edit

The Colditz Castle has been transferred from the article Oflag IV-C which has become unwieldy. The Castle deserves attention not just as an adjunct to the Oflag article whuch has become much too long. Syrenab 14:07, 10 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Update needed edit

"As of 2005 portions of the castle are closed off to tourists due to renovation. In particular the chapel, portions of the attic, much of the interior, the tunnels, and at least one exterior face are undergoing refinishing." - does anyone know if it has been re-opened yet and if this part of the article needs updating? The work is completed and the castle is open to visitors. I will update the article. Syrenab 11:47, 22 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

does anyone know someone i could talk to? edit

Hello

I have two weeks to create a study that I am doing on the Colditz Prisoner of war camp. My english teacher has specified that we need to have a primary source, so i was wondering if anyone knows anyone that i could get in contact with to maintain a primary source?

Also if anyone has a list of people that have been in the castle while it was still a prisoner of war camp could you please let me know if it possible for me to have this list.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you. Chocoholic131 (talk) 04:37, 22 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Etymology edit

The German page gives the placename as at least partially Slavic. Any English language sources for that? — LlywelynII 01:19, 13 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
