Values for coin diameter and weight are derived from the referenced official Australian website and are factually correct. This website does not provide values on thickness.

Values for thickness in this page table are arbitrary and overestimate actual values by some 25-30%. Calculation of metal density from the provided diameter and thickness values gives ~5,000-6,000 kg/cub m, whereas the correct values for the metal alloys are ~8,300 for $1 and $2 and close to 8,800 for 10c, 20c and 50c coins. 60.241.205.139 (talk) 07:09, 14 June 2008 (UTC)

Stuart Devlin

It may be worth noting in the article that Stuart Devlin, who designed the artwork for the coins, included his initials (SD) in the artwork of each coin. They are very small, but can be seen with a magnifying glass. Logicman1966 (talk) 12:37, 21 February 2011 (UTC)

Coins not to scale

Despite claiming that the images are 0.7px/mm, they are not to scale. You can clearly see this by the fact that the $1 and 50c piece are pictured as being the same size, with the $2 not much smaller. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.250.5.248 (talk) 21:56, 27 October 2011 (UTC)

Separate Pages

$5 and $10 coin denominations (+any other denominations?)

Is there any information on the $5 and $10 coins released as legal tender over the years? I'm not sure where to get reliable information on this, but I'm pretty sure they exist. 110.22.228.207 (talk) 04:32, 22 June 2016 (UTC)

King Charles on Coins

This page from the Australian Mint shows, that $1 and $2 coins with King Charles images on it are now available.
