Usage note edit
Since the article is absent in EB 1911, I may conclude that the usage became obsolete. Two considerations, however.
- The article is still useful for reading and understanding the pre-19th century texts.
- I cannot put the mark "obsolete" myself; this would be a piece of OR. So I would like to ask an expert in military history to find a reference to this end. `'Míkka>t 01:37, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
