YouTube user Cody’sLab Reuploaded has successfully reuploaded Drinking Cyanide on YouTube along with 24 others. My Element Collection on YouTube can be found on another channel, Deleted Videos. Both of these channels have been open and operating for about a year. It looks like the YouTube immune-system tried to push these controversial videos out but it has come to acknowledge them for their educational content. (Without experimenters like Cody, we wouldn’t have many of the discoveries we enjoy.)
As an editor, I’m asking for guidance on how to use or refer to deleted Youtube content. Videos and channels can change over time, but it’s worth mentioning that the platform still host them, but how does a modern interlinked web-based encyclopedia do this exactly?
