Mysterious female voice edit

I know the song is credited to Flo Rida and David Guetta only, but as for those who've listened to the song, they'll notice a female voice during the chorus. Do we know who the female voice is? I believe it is Nicole Scherzinger, but this isn't substantiated or cited anywhere. 86.163.18.178 (talk) 16:00, 16 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Is it a digitally altered Guetta or Flo Rida? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.84.140.10 (talk) 19:39, 24 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

I came to the article looking for who sings the chorus. Why she isn't credited (here or on the album) is beyond me.216.94.43.4 (talk) 19:49, 9 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Flo Rida sings the entire song. Chorus contains background vocals by Carmen Michelle Key and lyrical vocals by Flo Rida. All non-chorus parts are Flo Rida only. Carmen is completely absent from the verses and the bridge. You can also see in the music video that shows Flo Rida singing both the chorus (see 0:14 and 0:25) and the verses (see i.e., 0:50) that Flo Rida sings this song. David Guetta is not the singer. 108.7.216.159 (talk) 03:58, 2 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

Accusation of plagiarism edit

Ive deleted an unsourced allegation from the page for the song "I Melt with You", suggesting that "Club Can't Handle Me" has "many musical similarities" to that song's main riff. In my opinion, the two songs do indeed sound extremely similar - but my opinion (fortunately) doesn't hold much sway on Wikipedia. does anyone have any info about whether Flo & Dave intentionally used the the riff from "I Melt", or whether there have been any formal accusations of plagiarism? ~dom Kaos~ (talk) 13:01, 1 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

I would say that the first 20 seconds sound very much like "imagine" from John Lennon. This pattern is maintained throughout the entire song, sometimes very smoothly in the background. I think this should be included on the main page about this song.--Pompom105 (talk) 17:29, 8 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
