Kits edit

I have moved the following section to this talk page as it contradicts the two kits in the Infobox, until such time as the shirt colours and designs can be confirmed. ♦Tangerines♦·Talk 15:33, 26 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Great src for Taladro's shirts [1] Jor70 17:29, 30 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Can we put this back on the page ? Boca's has this and we have found a reference with www.coleccionbanfilenia.com.ar --Jor70 22:54, 1 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

The only thing is that the 3rd and 4th kit images are quite different from the official site shirts. If they can be amended to how they appear on the official site then the kits should be moved back to the main page. But at the moment as they are, the 3rd and 4th kits are significantly different from the official shirt style.
I think there is some confussion, the official kits would be those of the infobox, I meant a sub section (like Boca's) with different types of Taladro's kits, which could be reference with the pics of that site. --Jor70 23:11, 1 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Current squad edit

es:WP had many more Banfield current players than en:WP. Transferred names from es:WP pending more research to at least have a more complete/up to date list. Banfield squad template should be updated after confirmation -- Alexf(t/c) 18:10, 30 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Name edit

"The club was founded in 1896 and was named after Edward Banfield.."

I'd rather say that the club was named after the Buenos Aires village that was named after Edward Banfield. That's a difference in my opinion. -Lemmy- (talk) 20:31, 23 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Daniel Kingsland edit

Apologies if this entry violates one of the Wikipedia rules - I'm new to this.

Daniel Kingsland is noted in this article to have been an accountant. I am a descendent of Daniel Kingsland (G-G-grandson) and I have been researching him. To date, I have found nothing to support the claim that he was an accountant. He was a coach driver for many years in Australia and New Zealand, before going to Argentina, and prior to that, he was a seaman. Is the author able to provide a citation about Daniel's accountancy credentials?Wallabyphil (talk) 01:32, 30 July 2012 (UTC)Reply
