Individual clone troopers

Though, there isn't much in the way of the "Notable clone troopers" section--the best I could think to title it right now. Considering some redirects from various clone troopers point to this article, considering the absolute size of List of Star Wars characters, and that this IS the clone trooper article, I thought it best to have a section covering some of the more significant clone trooper characters.

I thought I should at least explain my intended inclusion rationale there. As far as canon troopers go, starting with that because I'm not well-versed in Legends beyond the Republic Commando series, I'm thinking troopers who appear in more than one canon title, are a notable recurring trooper in The Clone Wars, or have a significant arc in TCW. Right now, that means the following:

• Appo, Commander (Commander Appo redirects to character list) - Revenge of the Sith (named in Databank entry), The Clone Wars (season 3, episodes 7-10)
• Bly, Commander (Commander Bly redirects here) - Revenge of the Sith (named in visual guide and Databank entry), The Clone Wars (season 1, episodes 14-15)
• Cody, Commander (Commander Cody (Star Wars) redirects here) - Revenge of the Sith (named in film), The Clone Wars (film and throughout series)
• Echo, ARC trooper (No redirect) - The Clone Wars (significantly recurring, Legacy reels, "revived" because of viewer attachment--gotta dig up refs on that though)
• Fives, ARC trooper (No redirect) - The Clone Wars (significantly recurring, significant part of two story arcs)
• Gree, Commander (Commander Gree redirects to TCW series article) - Revenge of the Sith (named in Databank entry), The Clone Wars
• Gregor, Captain (No redirect) - The Clone Wars (season 5, episode 12), Rebels
• Kix, Trooper (No redirect) - The Clone Wars (throughout), "The Crimson Corsair and the Lost Treasure of Count Dooku" short story
• Rex, Captain (Captain Rex redirects here) - The Clone Wars (film, throughout the series, primary clone character), Rebels
• Wolffe, Commander (No redirect) - The Clone Wars (throughout), Rebels

I think adding the Coruscant guard (Coruscant Guards redirects to Stormtrooper (Star Wars)) would also be warranted, considering an appearance in both Revenge of the Sith and The Clone Wars film and series. Probably a short summary of the fictional 501st Legion and ARC troopers also. Generally, I imagine at some point Captain Rex would get spun off into his own article, considering enough out of universe information seems to exist for it, it's just a matter of collecting it.

Drawing from Legends, best I can from hazy knowledge, Appo, the 501st, and ARC troopers have some Legends history, Alpha will probably have to be added and apparently there's some out of universe information relating to Alpha and TCW, Delta squad appears in more than one Legends title and they are also salvaged into canon through a brief appearance. I suppose generally the same applies for Legends troopers? Appears in more than one title, significant arc in Legends material, or something? I'm generally worried with overburdening the article, but then, until myself or someone draws up a rough list of Legends troopers, I don't know how many we're looking at and if the criterion needs to be narrowed. ~Cheers, TenTonParasol 18:24, 30 January 2016 (UTC)

Well there is lots of divisions considering that S.O is not one since we don't see a Trooper in two divisions like a Trooper is in the 501st and in the 212th. And we also see in the animated Star Wars that ARC Trooper Fives is now a ARC and in the 501st so this considers that he is in S.O (Special Operations) so generally S.O is really a sub-division. Portrayal in Obi-Wan Kenobi, Andor, and The Mandalorian

Is there any reliable source to show that the clones were portrayed in those flashbacks by people in actual armor costumes onscreen rather than CGI? Because I fell that should be put in the portrayal section. 0Detail-Attention215 (talk) 13:34, 24 March 2023 (UTC)
