Or does this meet notability by virtue of the fact that she's a national delegate to an international pageant? Beauty pageants have never been my thing, so I don't know what notability would be. --User:AlbertHerring ^{Io son l'orecchio e tu la bocca: parla!} 18:53, 21 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Seems to me that a contestant in a beauty pageant is not notable per se. There has to be other notability. Maybe we should have a mass AfD of the entire category contents and see what the consensus brings. Fiddle Faddle (talk) 18:55, 21 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

A7 only requires an assertion of significance - this is a lower bar than the notability standards. Regardless of whether this person meets WP:BIO winning a national beauty contest is clearly an assertion of significance. Hut 8.5 19:56, 21 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
