somebody PLEASE fix the vandalism in the lead edit
This is a good example why Wikipedia is not taken seriously.68.198.150.179 (talk) 04:54, 26 April 2010 (UTC)captcrisis
Career section edit
"In 1937 she starred with Humphrey Bogart in Dead End, which would lead to her being nominated for Best Supporting Actress"
This somewhat misleading. The stars were Sylvia Sidney and Joel McCrea. Bogart could arguably be categorized in that way, but Trevor's role is small, albeit very impressive. See the Wikipedia article on the movie and note the promotional poster for the film. jbarntt 16:12, 1 May 2010 (UTC)
Other edit
Today (11/29/2020) the name "Claire Trevor" came to me. It had absolutely no meaning to me, so I looked that name up and found this article about her. I just found it rather odd that her name would somehow pop up in my mind. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.151.82.71 (talk) 12:47, 29 November 2020 (UTC)
Origin of surname ‘Trevor’ edit
Her name is shown as “Trevor (née Wimlinger)” although no spouse is listed with the name ‘Trevor’. The term née “is specifically applied to a woman's maiden name after her surname has changed due to marriage” [source: Wikipedia]. For clarity, shouldn’t this be corrected? Is there a source to explain the Trevor surname, perhaps assigned by a studio? Ireadthedictionaryforfun (talk) 02:54, 14 December 2022 (UTC)
Filmography edit
The filmography is missing the Torch Blane movies made between 1937-1939. 98.254.108.233 (talk) 05:19, 14 April 2023 (UTC)
