The Network edit
I'm getting tired of this. Somebody keeps putting info on Wikipedia that states that "Green Day is in fact The Network. This is a matter of complete OPINION and shouldn't be said. Also, don't get carried away with the 'The Network' part of this page. If you want to say a lot about The Network, make a section in this page that says something like "The Network Connection".
- Actually, not it's not. It's been confirmed by Billie Joe...
It's also been confirmed as flat out fact that the members of Green Day wrote those songs (read the articles on The Network). Only sources I know... edit

In considering this article for deletion (PROD), I looked at these sources, which barely mention the topic, have little apparent credibility, and add little to the info already available in Green Day. Sorry, but I don't think this non-album merits a Wikipedia article. HG | Talk 06:26, 8 October 2007 (UTC)

Why does that matter? Bands scrap entire albums all the time. In this case, the album was stolen, the band thought they could do better, and that was that. Runnersdialzero33 (talk) 23:48, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

Photo request edit
Someone added a photo request for this article. Usually a photo request for an album indicates that the album's cover art needs to be uploaded. However, this album was never released so there will never be any cover art unless for some reason Green Day decides to either release the backups or rerecord the album. That being said, unless someone objects in the next day or so I will probably delete the photo request template.--Entoaggie09 (talk) 21:23, 19 September 2008 (UTC)

Album or song? edit

"Too Much Too Soon" and "Walk Away" - Re-recordings from this album? edit
The article says "Too Much Too Soon" from the American Idiot single and "Walk Away" from ¡Tré! are songs from this album. I've seen people saying this a lot on the internet but where are the sources? I don't think the band ever stated that these songs were from Cigarettes & Valentines. --Invader Phantom (talk) 21:27, 20 February 2013 (UTC)
