Issues about overlapping jurisdictions, one of the things the Windsor Report criticized, and something of which CANA is often accused, are not addressed in the article, which at this point is more a presentation of CANA's self-description.--Bhuck 08:39, 15 February 2007 (UTC)

I'm going to change the link labeled "Anglican Church of North America" to "Anglican Church in North America." This is the correct name. You can see that that is the destination page of the link. Ecumenical Relations

Come on now, really. Do we have to have something about the Ordinariate in every single Anglican article on Wikipedia? Anglicanorum Coetibus was not that important. It was an expansion of the Pastoral Provisions which were already granted by Pope John Paul II to Anglicans in the United States who wanted to become Catholics, yet keep the trappings of Anglican worship. It set up the Anglican Use in the United States. All Pope Benedict XVI did was expand it and took direct control of it so that it could not be interfered with by other Bishops. Neutral tone in Core Values

Hi, I recently reverted some edits because they were clearly partisan in tone. Namely,

"CANA was formed primarily in reaction to the departure of the Episcopal Church USA from orthodox Christian faith and Anglican praxis, particularly by the American mainline church's rebellion against the international Anglican Communion resolutions at the Lambeth Conference 1998, the Windsor Report, Dromantine (Ireland), and at Dar es Salaam (Tanzania) — including the ordination of non-celibate homosexual clergy, which it opposes as deviant and sinful."

Is a presentation of the CANA-Episcopal Church conflict that is clearly slanted in CANA's favor. It would be one thing if this was presented as a quote, but this is instead the original opinion of the editor. I feel a far better presentation of the above would be:

"CANA was formed primarily in opposition to the Episcopal Church US decisions on several issues, including the ordination of non-celibate homosexual clergy, which CANA opposes."

Let's take this as a baseline instead of straying off into value judgements about which province is correct on a moral issue, thanks. ThirdDolphin (talk) 00:37, 27 January 2019 (UTC)
