Church Almanac edit

I added a paragraph about there being no Church Almanac published for 2014 and possibly no more Almanacs at all. This is based upon information obtained from a Deseret Book employee when I went to buy the 2014 Almanac and didn't find it. So we will have to find verification of these facts somehow. Thoughts? --Jgstokes (talk) 09:17, 3 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

This is actually not too terribly new news: the online edition of the Church News almanac hasn't been regularly updated since the 2009-2010 timeframe. See http://www.ldschurchnewsarchive.com/almanac/ for some general information, and http://www.ldschurchnewsarchive.com/articles/58588/Country-information-India.html for one example (among many) of the geographic related material that we have spread out in many/most of the WP articles that start "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in..." -- 208.81.184.4 (talk) 16:48, 5 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

LDSChurchNews.com moves to DeseretNews.com edit

This article explains the new section I added to this Wikipedia page. I think I put it together properly, but I welcome any improvements anyone wants to make to it. Accordingly, all the links we have are outdated and inaccessible and will need to be replaced by links from the archived Church News site at first and then the archives from DeseretNews.com once they are moved over later this year. But I'm not sure how to handle all that work, so I will leave it to someone with more Wikipedia experience than me. Please let me know if I did anything wrong in adding this section. Thanks. --Jgstokes (talk) 09:17, 3 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Church News. Please take a moment to review my edit. You may add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it, if I keep adding bad data, but formatting bugs should be reported instead. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether, but should be used as a last resort. I made the following changes:
