Contemporary references often used mass measurements for turboprops (known at that time time as turbine-airscrew engines) and their power output (propeller and residual exhaust combined) was termed as 'thrust', shaft horsepower plus a mass measurement for exhaust thrust is common later. I suspect the figure here is the total thrust, it compares with the Rolls-Royce RB.50 Trent. Fairly academic as it was apparently never built.
