Could someone please provide some citations to back up the claims made in the "colt crazies" section? Particularly the claim that CBA grads founded the Cameron Crazies. The whole section seems a little biased and fluffed up anyway. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.99.69.204 (talk) 00:41, 13 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

This page could use some pictures.--Storting 08:08, 19 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Could Someone throw a list of all State and Shore titles under each sport?

I inserted the info on the Whitney family ownership but I don't know if they were the ones who donated it the Church. Handicapper 15:45, 29 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:Cbalogo.jpg edit

Image:Cbalogo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Bloated Athletic Section edit

The athletics section is ridiculously bloated. If anyone takes a survey of high school articles on Wikipedia, it is obvious that this one contains many details not considered encyclopedic. One should probably start at Wikipedia Project Schools and their essay the school article guidelines, in which a group of editors outlined what they believed should be included in school articles. They recommend that athletic accomplishment of achievement less-than-state championship should not be included, nor should individual athletes or coaches be named. Two recent editors on this article, User:Esrever and myself, pared the section down to a reasonable length. A third, User:Alansohn disagrees, and has attempted to warn other editors not to edit the article, while reverting their edits and calling them names. Can we please have a discussion about the merits of including over 20,000 characters of information in an this athletics section? Is it really encyclopedic to include the name of the assistant cross-country coach? Isn't that more appropriate for a fanpage than an encyclopedia? Jacona (talk) 21:50, 13 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

Sadly, JaconaFrere, has persistently abused Wikipedia as part of an active effort to stalk and harass my edits, both in this article (see here) and at Cooper Union (see here), two articles that he had never edited before and for which he only arrived and decided to edit based on my recent edits to the articles. There is room here for rational and productive editors to improve this article, but it is clear that the offending party has no legitimate interest here, other than in the fact that I have recently edited the article. The athletic section includes a few dozen sources and can be appropriately trimmed, but the argument by JaconaFrere that the section should be removed is a steaming load of crap from a shamelessly abusive editor here only to try to create a conflict. Alansohn (talk) 22:08, 13 September 2015 (UTC)Reply
Please stop your ridiculous accusations. You are attempting to claim that the act of editing any New Jersey article is stalking and harassing you. The athletics section in this article is grossly out of line with Wikipedia practice, recommendations, standards of notability and consensus of editors. Quit trying to drive other editors away with your bullying and baseless accusations.Jacona (talk) 22:13, 13 September 2015 (UTC)Reply
Look at what's been done in a few minutes to expand the athletics section with additional sources, rather than trying to provoke a confrontation by butchering the article. Just calling a spade a spade and a stalker a stalker. Stalking me from page to page makes you a stalker. Live with the title; You've earned it. Your actions speak for themselves. Alansohn (talk) 22:43, 13 September 2015 (UTC)Reply
Please try to be civil and avoid personal attacks Let's work on consensus instead of trying to drive other editors away. The section is unduly large, it is trivial, and needs to be trimmed significantly.Jacona (talk) 23:11, 13 September 2015 (UTC)Reply
I don't care so much about the sources (or about whatever personal drama others have). I care more about the fact that the entire section is just cruft. The content is not encyclopedic. Esrever (klaT) 03:55, 14 September 2015 (UTC)Reply
I couldn't agree with you more, Esrever . Alansohn, while you have chosen to avoid discussion and instead assert your dominance through rude and misleading edit captions, you cite WP:PRESERVE. This policy does not maintain that any and all sourced information must be maintained as you assert. It states that appropriate content should be retained and also states that trivial information may be removed. When people disagree with your viewpoint, that is not harassment. When others edit New Jersey articles, that is not stalking, nor does it justify incivility. Please consider discussing this in good faith. Jacona (talk) 14:56, 16 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

Alumni edit

I think the page would be better if the graduation dates of the notable alumni were posted. Also proof of diplomas would also help clarify that all of those people really did graduate. Sfarr508 (talk) 20:23, 4 October 2015 (UTC)Reply
