Talk:Christ (surname)

The tagline on Jesus "the head of the Christian church" seems misleading and biased. Wouldn't "figure central to Christianity" be more appropriate? Problems I see with the current wording: It makes it sound like he's a normal living person currently in charge of a particular Church, though I know most people are educated enough about religion to know who Jesus is. The current wording also both implies him to be an actual person (which is debated), and also undervalues him as merely the head of the church, when a majority of Christians view him as an actual deity. So, should this be changed? 75.170.1.208 (talk) 06:57, 5 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

The current wording[1] is pretty bad. I'll change it to "central figure of Christianity" which is from the Jesus biography. 173.228.123.166 (talk) 20:35, 6 November 2018 (UTC)Reply
