Poor flow

This article seems really hard to read. It starts talking about Evergrande which defaulted in December 2021 and then goes back to talk about other companies in September 2021.

I feel like it needs to be rewritten and include updates on the unfolding crisis. Jamisonsupame (talk) 04:26, 4 August 2022 (UTC)

Proposed restructure

I propose to restructure this article so that's mostly in chronological order. How about this for a start:

• Background
• History of the Crisis(-late 2021)
• Response
• Contagion
• History of the Crisis (2022-)
