Change of picture for the article?

I find it particularly strange that when viewing this article, that one has to be greeted with a picture of one's scrotum in order to best understand the nature of the disease. Extending and WP:MEDMOS

Misleading statement

In the United States, enslaved black children were hired from their owners and used in the same way, and were still climbing after 1875.

The wording of the above sentence implies there were enslaved black children in the USA in 1875. There weren’t. The sentence should be reworded.
