I don't think this page should be deleted because it provides valuable information to people looking to find information about taxes online. It has over 53,000 results in google, and there are many other examples of IRS credits having articles on Wikipedia.--Bibo58 04:58, 16 July 2007 (UTC)

This information is incorrect; these are the maximum amounts of expenses elible for consideration, not the maximum amount of the credit. "The maximum credit available under IRC section 21 is $3000 (or $6000, if taxpayer household contains more than 1 dependent)." (Desmondo163 (talk) 19:19, 27 October 2008 (UTC))

Assessment for WP:WikiProject Barack Obama

This article is neatly done, with sources and good detail... unfortunately, it addresses the topic only from the immediate tax payer's perspective. It doesn't explain how much the credit reduces total tax revenue, what series of events led for it to be proposed, who supported and opposed, or why it is mentioned in Obama's change.gov agenda. Also, Wikipedia style guidelines discourage Ibid./Id. citations - instead, name a reference in the first reference tag ("ref name=YourChosenTitle"), and then successive mentions are cited "ref name=YourChosenTitle /" with no citation information and no closing "/ref" tag.
